What I do

I build and run production backends and the infrastructure under them — Go services, Relay-compliant GraphQL APIs, payments on Stripe Connect, and AWS estates managed in Terraform.

11 years as an engineer (since December 2015, after a first career as a tennis coach). Over 7,000 commits since 2022, across a production microservice platform, my own product, and the AI tooling I develop with.

Selected work

Production microservice platform. Two years running the infrastructure in Terraform — 548 commits, still ongoing. AWS: ECS Fargate, ALB, Lambda, VPC endpoints, Route 53, CloudWatch, IAM.
My own product — ShowTenGai. A live marketplace in Japanese, built and operated solo: Go with ent and gqlgen, Relay-compliant GraphQL, Stripe Connect for payouts, Next.js and Relay on the front end, 576 Terraform files for the infrastructure. 2,796 commits.
AI-driven development. I run a set of agents that plan, implement, review, and verify — 471 commits in four months, solo, alongside a full-time engagement.

Before that

Enterprise systems in Japan: a fintech API platform (Java, Lambda, Kubernetes, a 30-plus engineer program), credit card issuing, municipal government systems, and a radiation management system for a power utility.

Also taught Java as lead instructor for four cohorts at a nationwide training provider — a program with 143,000 cumulative trainees across 3,100+ companies.
